Two months before their wedding in St. Simons Island, GA, Klaire and Cole reached out to us to help them with their wedding. We were so excited to be their St. Simon’s Island Wedding Planner. Klaire and Cole met in Nevada and couldn’t imagine their wedding anywhere else, but their home town.

St. Simons Island, known for its stunning coastline and old-world charm, the island provides an idyllic setting for couples seeking an intimate celebration away from the hustle and bustle. Klaire and Cole chose a private home nestled on the intercoastal as their wedding venue, offering an exclusive sanctuary for their special day.

Choosing a family friends private home for your wedding brings a personal touch that few other venues can match. With sprawling grounds and breathtaking waterfront views, their family friends’, The Shockley’s home became the heart of their celebration. The natural beauty of the surroundings seamlessly blended with their love, making for an unparalleled experience.

They chose to do a first look and OH MY STARS, the way they looked at each other made the temperature rise even more! Their smiles were so contagious! Their wedding party was large, with 11 bridesmaids, 12 groomsmen and the sweetest little flower girl.

Klaire and Cole exchanged their vows against the backdrop of the custom built arbor adorned with greenery and florals. They exchanged vows they wrote for each other and their sweet words to each. other brought so much love and joy to not only themselves, but to everyone there.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding waters, the wedding décor exuded nautical elegance. A palette of soft blues, whites, and sandy hues paid homage to the coastal landscape. The reception area, adorned with twinkling lights, transformed into an intimate space.

Their Caterer curated menu that celebrated local flavors. The wedding cake, adorned with delicate was a sweet nod to the stunning surroundings.

As night descended, the reception area transformed into an amazing dance party. Everyone truly had a blast dancing with them. As wedding planners, we always look for ways to elevate the fun and your guest experience. We noticed there was some extra roses and instantly knew what to do. We pulled the petals off all the extra roses, told the DJ and then he made an announcement to the guests, we handed the rose petals to all the guests. We gave a thumbs up to the photographer and the DJ and the guests threw the petals into the air! Klaire and Cole were dancing in a shower of soft, white rose petals. IT WAS MAGICAL!!! Then, Klaire did a snow angel on the dance floor in the petals!

As their celebration came to a close, Klaire changed into her after party dress and they continued to enjoy the evening.

When it was time for their grand exit, we lined up all of the guests and gave instructions for the sparklers, while Klaire and Cole shared a private dance. Once they were in place and the photographers were ready they ran under a beautiful sparklers.
