Megan & Tyler’s Low-Country Celebration at The Preserve at Amelia River Club

March 2, 2026

On a beautiful winter day along the Northeast Florida coast, Megan and Tyler celebrated their marriage surrounded by sweeping marsh views, thoughtful design, and their closest family and friends. Planned and designed by La Beau Events, their January 2, 2026 wedding at The Preserve at Amelia River Club blended Low Country charm with an elevated, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly suited the coastal setting.

The day began with a stunning ceremony on the lawn overlooking the oyster bed marsh, one of the most picturesque features of the venue. With eight bridesmaids and eight groomsmen standing beside them, Megan and Tyler exchanged vows in front of a serene natural backdrop that captured the beauty of Amelia River Club. The ceremony design reflected a refined coastal aesthetic, incorporating stunning lush white florals artfully created by The Heirloom Yard, palmetto accents, and a soft color palette of sage and cream. These elements complemented the surrounding landscape while creating a timeless and elegant look.

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into a lively cocktail-style reception designed to encourage movement, conversation, and celebration. Instead of a traditional seated dinner, guests enjoyed a variety of culinary stations prepared by Chef’s Garden, offering an array of delicious dishes throughout the evening. The format allowed guests to mingle freely while experiencing different spaces throughout the venue.

Music from the band, Who Rescued Who, brought energy to the evening and kept the dance floor full, while thoughtfully designed lounge areas invited guests to relax between songs. Custom hunter green couches were positioned on either side of the dance floor, creating stylish gathering spaces that felt both comfortable and sophisticated.

The overall aesthetic embraced Low Country inspiration with elevated details woven throughout the design. Hanging rattan lanterns added warmth and texture to the reception space, while custom palmetto linen napkins adorned the tables. The sage and cream color palette carried seamlessly from ceremony to reception, giving the entire event a cohesive and polished feel.

A unique feature of the evening was the double-sided bar, thoughtfully designed to serve guests both inside the hall and out on the patio. This layout helped maintain the natural flow of the cocktail-style reception while allowing guests to fully enjoy the indoor-outdoor setting that makes the venue so special.

The reception space was further enhanced with curated furnishings and rentals that elevated the design. A maple and white dance floor with stage anchored the celebration, surrounded by white wooden high-top community tables that encouraged guests to gather and connect. Elegant linens and elevated mismatched chairs added depth and character to the layout while maintaining a refined look.

To complement the design and bring additional texture into the space, lush greenery was incorporated throughout the floor plan by Liberty Landscaping. Their installations enhanced the natural beauty of the venue and tied together the Low Country aesthetic that inspired the day.

Capturing every meaningful moment was Day Eight Studios Photography & Videography, who documented the ceremony overlooking the marsh, the thoughtful design details, and the vibrant energy of the reception.

Megan and Tyler’s wedding at The Preserve at Amelia River Club was a perfect example of how intentional planning and thoughtful design can transform a space into an unforgettable experience. From the coastal ceremony setting to the lively lantern-lit reception, every element reflected the couple’s vision and created a celebration their guests will remember for years to come.

For the team at La Beau Events, this wedding remains one of our favorite designs — a beautiful blend of coastal elegance, Low Country inspiration, and joyful celebration.
